I joined Triveni in 2021 as Unit Head. Since then, my journey has been focused on strengthening teamwork, improving operational efficiency and driving continuous improvement. Working at Triveni has helped me grow as a leader, become more adaptable and develop a deeper understanding of people and processes.
My typical day begins with reviewing safety, production and plant performance with the team. Operational reliability, energy conservation and cost optimisation remain key priorities, with effective planning and cross-functional coordination helping us address challenges and maintain smooth operations.
Some of my most significant milestones include converting our process from double sulphitation to refined sugar production, and implementing the steam economy project to improve energy efficiency and optimise bagasse consumption. The commissioning of the CHy project during the running season was another challenging initiative that we successfully completed through careful planning and teamwork.
These experiences have reinforced my belief that meaningful progress comes from collective ownership, practical problem-solving and a willingness to continuously improve. I have also learnt the importance of combining operational data with the experience of people closest to the work to make better-informed decisions.
What makes Triveni special to me is the trust it places in its people, the support of its leadership and the opportunities it provides to take ownership and grow. Being able to contribute to operational improvements while supporting the development of my team makes my journey here truly rewarding. I take pride in being part of the Triveni family and contributing to our shared progress.
