My journey in Triveni has been something incomparable regarding growth and success. I joined Triveni in 2011 as a Manager and got the privilege to work with an inspiring leader, Cdr Deepak Adhar. Later, I was privileged to lead the Human Resources function, which really made my career. This growth was possible due to the hard work and dedication of team members along with invaluable support of mentors like Mr. Nikhil, Mr. B.K. Agrawal, Mr. Kamal Verma, Mr. Sanjeev Asthana, Mr. A.N., Mr. Garg, and all the Heads of Departments at Water Business. Their mentorship has been instrumental in my professional and personal development.
A typical day at work in Triveni is quite an evolving mix of activities and challenges. My work involves a wide gamut of activities: right from talent acquisition to policy creation, addressing employee grievances, counseling, training sessions, and driving employee engagement. Managing HR transactions, handling corporate office-related tasks, and fostering inter-unit networking also form integral parts of my day. Though the challenges present themselves every day, the diversity of the role keeps me engrossed and motivated.
Therefore, this was my first significant milestone in joining Triveni and getting an opportunity to lead the HR function. Exciting and fulfilling, I have been given complete freedom to pursue a number of initiatives that have been of immense importance to my growth. As a female professional, I have always felt safe and respected within the organization. The journey of Triveni itself has been so rewarding owing to unstinting support from top management, colleagues, and team members.
One of the most impactful projects I did involve working during the COVID-19 pandemic. This was a time that tested our resilience and empathy, since we had to support our employees and their families during a period that was extremely difficult for all of them. As emotionally draining it was on our team, this was an important area in ensuring every grievance was heard and support provided. The valuable support at our hospital, Tirath Ram, and unstinted support from Corporate HR and top management helped us to tide over those trying days. That was a great learning experience and a pointer to the bonding that can happen within a team and the sensitivity of human beings.
Working at Triveni has been a continuous learning process. At the time of joining, my knowledge of the water sector was limited. This experience taught me over the years the importance of the sector to both the organization and national development. Our projects denote our commitment to corporate social responsibility in managing such a critical resource as water. The passion that burns within us is reflected in our continuous efforts towards organizational and societal growth.
The culture of innovation at Triveni is always an inspiration. One such proud example of how we embraced technology was in enhancing our processes in "Statutory Compliance". Compliance is not an option but an extreme necessity, something which has been at the top of the minds of our top management. Using an AI-enabled solution, we successfully tracked and monitored compliance every month, knowing that all critical deadlines would be met. Therefore, this technological enhancement proved very important to maintain our high standards and keep us regulatory-compliant.
Triveni is a very special place to build one's career, and this employee-friendly culture is just one of the many reasons. At Triveni, we are committed to health and safety of employees, and our leaders encourage a supportive, motivating work environment. Quite a few of our employees have spent over a decade with us and refer to Triveni as family. As and when possible, even when employees leave, we try to stay in contact and accommodate them. Further, our flexible working hours create a sound balance between work and life, thus contributing to the quality of existence for our group.
In conclusion, my experience at Triveni has been a journey of growth, learning, and satisfaction. The culture of support, opportunities, and innovation here has played a major role in shaping my career and personal development.
