With the cost of clean water rising and the need to conserve and recycle water escalating, there is an increasing demand for technologies that can effectively and economically treat water/waste water from the local municipalities for recycle as process make up water.

Designed to remove particles greater than 0.04 micron, including suspended solids and bacteria, UF system uses hollow fibre microporous membranes encapsulated into a bundle to form a filter module.The key to the efficient operation of the unit is the patented air scour process that is used at regular intervals to remove the concentrated particles from the fibre. The backwash air is introduced within the membrane bundle and scours the surface of the membrane with a scrubbing action that is not achievable with external air scour technique. This process ensures removal of suspended and colloidal impurities along with micro-organisms.
