• Weedicide application
• Water & Fertilizer application
• Mulching and composting
• Varietal demonstration
• Intercropping
• Crop Geometry

Technical Assistance to Cane Growers
The cane department organizes technical assistance to the cultivators and guides them on scientific techniques of cultivation such as:

• Application of proper doses of Insecticides and Pesticides.
• Proper application of Fertilizer
• Plantation of High yield varieties of sugarcane.
• Month-wise cane planting programme.
• Ratoon Management.

Moist Hot Air Treatment
A minimum of 10% of the total production of sugarcane is lost due to pest and diseases every year. To control the virus disease, the factory is having two units of Moist Hot Air Treatment Plant, which are able to treat 2100 ton of cane seed material every year. The treated seed is being used to raise foundation seed nurseries. This enhances production of cane seed by 5% on an average by avoiding stunting and virus disease like Red-rot.
