Case Study: Eastern Zone
Problems Faced: A 23 MW gearbox for Gas turbine power plant supplied by Westinghouse originally and Plant had lost direct contact with the gearbox vendor and had no other option to find other sources who were capable to take care of the interchangeability.

Solution offered by Triveni : Triveni experts visited the site and suggested replacement of gearinternals and testing the same in the original gearbox casing to save the cost, while offering interchangeability.

Implementation: Triveni took the dimensions of the gearset and new internals were manufactured and assembled and tested in the original casing to ensure interchangeabiliy

Customer Experience: The gearbox has been put into operation and on full load by our engineers. ASEB has found localised service and the gearbox was put into operation.
