Trash Cleaning Machines are usually provided ahead of the medium / fine screen in typical wastewater applications and are most commonly used units in the Sewage Pumping Stations ahead of the Pump House. Besides, these machines also find major applications in the Intake Works where they are used ahead of the Travelling Water Screen to ensure removal of coarse debris before the water reaches the Travelling Water Screen.

The trash cleaning machine, offered by Triveni is available in guided & non-guided options. The guided option, as the name suggests, is provided where the channel width is limited and single unit can clean the entire rack width in a single stroke. Whereas in the non-guided option, these units are generally provided with a traversing option where the entire machine moves from one end of the bay to the other and in the process the cleaning machine cleans the entire width of the rack in steps. This is achieved by fully automated or semi-automatic drive control depending upon the clients' requirements.

These machines can be supplied either in carbon steel construction for normal surface water application or in stainless steel construction for sea water application.
