We are a grand master in small turbine manufacturing in India. One of the largest manufacturers of small steam turbines in India we have registered 17.95% (from 190.5 MW in 2004 to 224.7 MW in 2005) of growth in manufacturing.

So far we have manufactured 1,700 turbines in India from 1972-73 to March 2005. And we have an order of over 450 MW as on May 20, 2005. Large scale production like this has enabled us to reduce turbine unit cost and establish a brand image throughout the globe. Nonetheless, the decades of experiences have helped us anticipate, define and effectively address the business challenges in Turbine Business.

Life time service and support to our clients have been a major value addition for us. In the last three fiscal years we have overhauled more than 700 turbines each year. Riding on the best technology our trained service personnel from network of service centers support the turbines installed by us. We offer operations and maintenance services in addition to supply of spares, regular servicing and annual maintenance contracts. These have enabled us to establish deeper relationships with our clients, which differentiates us from our clients.

Our research and development
By regular research and development we improve the existing products and develop new products. Development of tapered-twisted blades, which holds the key to the efficient working of a turbine is the result of our indigenous effort. This has enabled us to increase the efficiency of our turbines and enables us to enhance our margins. We have efficiently designed turbines up to 30.0 MW.
