Triveni started its Gas Turbine division in technical collaboration with European Gas Turbines, a part of the erstwhile GEC Alsthom Group - a leader in power generation equipment worldwide. Triveni presently packages and sells engines of M/s Allied Signals, USA only.

Today, Triveni has the capability to engineer and install complete energy systems to meet customer needs. It offers a single stop solution for providing the most efficient and reliable gas turbine co-generation plants in the range 0.5 MW to 10 MW in single unit and further in multiple modular units, leading to enhanced operating economics. Some of the plants commissioned by Triveni have operated at 95% availability and this is considered low at Triveni.

The range of turbines consists of the latest state-of-the-art, high efficiency, compact ASE8, ASE40, ASE50 and ASE80 models. Triveni supplied its first captive power plant based on gas to Samtel Color Limited at Ghaziabad (near Delhi). Triveni has since then executed a number of other projects.

Triveni has also handled some complex system integration projects and has successfully implemented some innovative applications for enhanced plant performance and efficiency.
