Gas Turbines Applications
Co-generation, the ideal way of meeting the energy requirements of most industries, provides both electricity and steam/heat for process requirement. The heat of the exhaust gases from the gas turbine generator is used to produce steam in a Waste Heat Recovery Boiler, which is then utilised within the plant for process steam.

High efficiency, excellent reliability and great flexibility of operations has increased the popularity of gas based co-generation plant. It can now be used with liquid fuels (HSD, Kerosene, Naphtha) or gaseous fuels (natural gas, LPG, LNG, Bio-gas etc.). Triveni has developed expertise in gas turbine based co-generation plants with a capacity of 0.5 - 10 MW.

Gas turbines offer various advantages like :
  • High efficiency.
  • Ease of operation.
  • Low maintenance.
  • High availability/uptime.
  • Ease and speed of installation.
  • Low running costs.
  • Environment friendly (non-polluting) operation.
