Overview
The Unit had been established in year 2005 with installed capacity of 4500 TCD, expanded in 2008-09 to 6500 TCD. The Plant is located on Khurja Pahasu Road in the Distt. Of Bulandshahar in western U.P. The significant advantage of the unit is the large cultivable area and its proximity to New Delhi.
Factory has over 12443 hectare cane area and deals with 27822 farmers to meet its requirement of sugar cane. Apart from the cane purchase at the factory gate, balance cane is procured from 54 cane purchase out-centres. The cane department of the plant has excelled in the management and operation of the cane out-centres.
Technology
Many technological advancements in the plant have been undertaken, for example - Full DCS Controlled Automation by YOKOGOWA for process control, AC VFD Drives for Mills for Energy saving, Planetary Drives for Carriers and Crystallizers, Short Retention Clarifier- SRI Make, B Continuous Pan – Triveni SRI Make, Vapour Flashing system for Evaporators. Mill speed is controlled by DCS resulting better Mill Extraction, Juice Flow stabilization for constant nominated feed to the production cycle for better sugar quality and minimizing sugar losses. SRC Clarifier is giving better juice quality and also reducing sugar losses. Steam consumption has been optimized by Vapour flashing system and Continuous Pan. Better exhaustion is obtained through Continuous Pan. Power Consumption is optimized by using VFD Drives.
