Overview
MILAK NARAYANPUR sugar unit is situated on Moradabad to NANITAL Road at the distance of 35 Kms from Moradabad. The plant was set up in 2006-07 with a capacity of 5500 TCD.
The plant had been designed to expand upto 7500 TCD based on future cane availability. This plant is set up using modern energy efficient equipments & devices with automated operation & control so as to have steam consumption to the level which is best in class.
Factory has about 12627 hectare cane area and deals with around 13239 farmers to meet its requirement of sugar cane. Apart from the cane purchased at the factory gate, balance cane is procured from 42 cane purchase out-centres. The cane department of the plant has excelled in the management and operation of the cane out-centres.
Technology
The factory had been set up using modern equipment designed in collaboration of Sugar Research International of Australia like Continuous Vacuum Pan for energy (steam & power) efficiency & SRI Tray less clarifier for juice clarification is taken to achieve better operational parameters. IT System is being used for procurement as well as development of Cane.
Milak Narayanpur is the most modern plant with the high pressure boiler 90 TPH and 45 kg per sq. cm., DC drive at mills with DCS system at Mill, Boiler and Boiling house. Energy saving system of M/S SEDL has been installed to reduce steam, power & water consumption.
L & T Make Weighing & Bagging system with IC Graders has been installed for the better sugar grading and weight accuracy of final product.
