  • Mr. Dhruv M. Sawhney

    • Mr. Sawhney graduated with a Master’s degree in Mechanical Sciences from Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge, U.K. and an M.B.A with distinction from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, U.S.A. He was on the Dean’s list for all terms, came second in the University, and is a life member of Beta Gama Sigma.

      Mr. Sawhney received the “Chevalier de la Legion d’Honneur” from President Chirac of the French Republic, and was made an ‘Honorary Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order’ (LVO) by HM Queen Elizabeth II. He chaired the Commonwealth Leadership Development Conferences founded by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh to foster and broaden the decision making ability of future leaders.

      Mr. Sawhney was President of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in 1991/92, and a Past President of the International Society of Sugar Cane Technologists and the Indian Sugar Mills Association. He received the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ from the Sugar Technologists’ Association of India, and was made ‘Indian Business Leader of the Year’ by Horasis.

      Mr. Sawhney is Co-Chair of the Indo-French CEO’s Forum set up by the President of France and the Prime Minister of India. He is Chairman of the Indian Institute of Management, Kashipur, and a past Chairman of the Doon School, one of India’s premier Schools. Mr. Sawhney is also a Companion Member of the Chartered Institute of Management, U.K. He was President of the All India Chess Federation for 12 years and is a Chevalier of the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin in Burgundy.

      Mr. Sawhney is Chairman of Triveni Turbine Ltd. and Triveni Engineering and Industries Ltd. with a turnover of US$ 500 Million and market capitalization of US$ 800 million. Mr. Sawhney chairs the Board of Trustees of North India’s oldest private charitable hospital (named after his great grandfather, and inaugurated by the first President of India). It is funded by the Triveni Group and the Sawhney family, and provides free and subsidized secondary care to the weaker sections of society in North Delhi. This 200 bed hospital also runs a free nurses training school.

      • Close interaction with Sugar Research Institute (SRI), Mackay, Australia. The first Continuous Vacuum Pan to run in a double sulphitation white sugar plant was successfully installed in February 2000 and the specification and design was jointly done by Triveni and SRI.
  • Mr. Tarun Sawhney

    • Mr. Tarun Sawhney, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, is a promoter of the company. He has a Masters degree in Economics from the Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge, UK and a Masters degree in Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, USA.

      Mr. Sawhney has also experience in the fields of telecommunications, information technology, and financial and portfolio analysis. He worked with AT Kearney Inc., UK, a management consultancy firm from 1998 to 2000.

      He is the current Vice President of Indian Sugar Mills Association (ISMA). He is also on several industry committees in the field of agriculture and sustainability.

      Mr. Sawhney is a Trustee of the Tirath Ram Shah Hospital in New Delhi, which is the oldest charitable hospital in North India. He is on the Board of Oxford and Cambridge Society of India and is a member of the Indian Public Schools Society (IPSS).

  • Mr. Nikhil Sawhney

    • Nikhil Sawhney is the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Triveni Turbine Limited and a Director with Triveni Engineering and Industries Limited in Noida, India. Nikhil has worked in the field of investment banking and consumer goods in the UK and USA prior to joining Triveni Engineering in 1999. Nikhil has work in different positions within the company overseeing corporate functions like corporate affairs, communications and investor relations as well as the businesses of water and waste water treatment and turbines.

      Nikhil has helped found the CII-Triveni Water Institute and is an active trustee of the Tirath Ram Shah Charitable Hospital and the Emmanuel College India Trust, as well as a Fellow of the Aspen Institute of India and the Aspen Global Leadership Network. He is also a part of the Managing Committee of ASSOCHAM and the Governing Council of AIMA. Nikhil has been awarded the Udyog Ratna by the Institute of Economic Studies. Nikhil has a Bachelors degree in Arts and a Masters degree in Arts from Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge, and a Masters degree in Business Administration from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

  • Mr. Suresh Taneja, Group Chief Financial Officer

    • Mr. Suresh Taneja Group Chief Financial Officer, has a honours degree in B.Sc. (Chemistry) from Delhi University and is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants from the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He joined the Company in 1994 and has earlier worked with Oman National Transport Company, Muscat and Eicher Tractors.

  • Mr. Sameer Sinha, President - Corporate Planning & Sugar Business Group Co-products

    • Mr. Sameer Sinha, President - Corporate Planning & Sugar Business Group Co-products is a B.Tech in electrical engineering from I.I.T. Kanpur and did his Post Graduation in Management from I.I.M. Ahmedabad. Prior to joining Triveni, Mr. Sinha has had extremely successful tenures at Larsen & Toubro Ltd., Vam Organic Chemicals Ltd. (now called Jubilant Organosys) & Shaw Wallace & Co. Ltd. and has demonstrated a strong ability to work across industries.

      Mr. Sinha has been a member of various committees set up by the Govt. of India, CII, Indian Sugar Mills Association, Enertech, Chemtech etc. He has been conferred various awards such as Distinguished Business Excellence Award etc. He has been a speaker at various seminars & conferences conducted by national & international organisations. He also has extremely significant expertise in the domain of Clean Development Mechanism.

  • Mr Lalit Sachdeva, Group Vice President & Chief Legal Officer

    • Mr Lalit Sachdeva, Group Vice President & Chief Legal Officer is BA, LL.B. He joined Triveni Group in the year 2008. Prior to joining Triveni, he has worked with Havells India Limited for five years as the Head of Legal Department, where he was instrumental in international acquisition of Sylvania. Before Havells, he was Northern Region Head of a liquor giant, viz Shaw Wallace & Co. wherein he handled petitions under Sections 397, 398 for the takeover of Shaw Wallace, winding up petitions, Section 138 Negotiable Instruments Act prosecutions which were large in number. He started his career as a Lawyer at the District Court, Meerut and shuttled between Allahabad High Court and Meerut under the supervision of the then DGC (Civil) for about six years.

  • Mr. C.N. Narayanan, Group General Manager (Investor Relations & Value Creation)

    • Mr. C.N. Narayanan is the Group General Manager (Investor Relations & Value Creation) of Triveni Group. His areas of responsibility include Investor Relations & Corporate Communication apart from all Business Development activities for the Group. He has over 26 years of experience in various areas of Finance & strategy. He joined Triveni Group in May 2006. Prior to joining Triveni, he has worked for 19 years with Steel Authority of India Limited in various capacities at its Corporate Office. He is a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Calicut and is an Associate Member of The Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India, Kolkata.

  • Mr. Sanjeev Asthana, Group General Manager (Human Resource)

    • Mr. Sanjeev Asthana is the Group General Manager (Human Resource) a Post Graduation in Human Resources with 19 years of vast and rich experience in the area of developing and implementing HR subsystems for business excellence. He is responsible for Talent Acquisition, Enhancing Employee Motivation through better Employee Engagement strategies and managing Employee Relations. Prior to Joining Triveni, he has worked for SRF LTD., Samtel Color Ltd., Jubilant Organosys Ltd., Minda Huf Ltd. and Motherson Sumi Systems Ltd.

  • Ms. Geeta Bhalla, Group General Manager & Company Secretary

    • Ms. Geeta Bhalla, Group General Manager & Company Secretary is a Post Graduate in commerce, Bachelor of Laws and a Member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Ms. Bhalla started her professional career in 1993 and joined Triveni group in 2006. In her current role she is responsible for Corporate Secretarial affairs of Triveni Group, Management and Administration of Corporate Governance, Capital Market activities, Investor/Shareholders services, M&A and Restructuring activities, Regulatory Compliances etc.

  • Mr. B. K. Agrawal, Chief Executive Officer (Water Business Group)

    • Mr. B. K. Agrawal, Chief Executive Officer (Water Business Group), is B.E. (Chemical) from University of Roorkee (now Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee). He joined Triveni as Engineer in 1978 and has extensive work experience in design, business development, project management and customer relationship management. He is an active member on various industry associations and advisory panel for wastewater treatment.

  • Mr. Rajiv Rajpal, Chief Executive Officer, Gear Business Group

    • Mr. Rajiv Rajpal, Chief Executive Officer, Gear Business Group is B.E. Hons. (Mech.) from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He joined the Company in 1991 and prior to that has worked with Thermax, HCL and Vijayshree Equipments. Currently he occupies the position of CEO (GBG).

  • Dr. Ashok Kumar, Vice President (Sugar) heads Khatauli Sugar Unit and also oversees Sabitgarh Sugar Unit

    • Dr. Ashok Kumar, Vice President (Sugar) heads Khatauli Sugar Unit and also oversees Sabitgarh Sugar Unit.He is B.Sc. and Ph.D. from NSI. He joined Triveni in 2011 and prior to that has worked for 21 years with DSM Sugar, Simbhaoli, A.S. Sugar and K.M. Sugar.

  • Mr. D.N. Mishra, Vice President (Sugar), Sugar Unit Deoband

    • Mr. D.N. Mishra, Vice President (Sugar), Sugar Unit Deoband is B.E. (Mechanical), M.E. (Production) & ANSI (Sugar Engg.). He joined Triveni in May 2014. He has 36 years of experience in Sugar industry. Prior to joining Triveni he has worked with Sugar Corporation of Uganda Limited and U.P. State Sugar Corporation.

  • Mr. M. A. Qureshi, Vice President (Sugar), Sugar Unit, Ramkola

    • Mr. M. A. Qureshi, Vice President (Sugar), Sugar Unit, Ramkola is B.E. (Mech.). He joined the Company in 2002 and prior to that has worked for over 32 years with private, co-operative and U.P. Sugar corporation mills.

  • Mr. Amod Sharma, Vice President (Sugar), Sugar Unit, Chandanpur

    • Mr. Amod Sharma, Vice President (Sugar), Sugar Unit, Chandanpur, is B.Sc., ANSI (Sugar Technology). He joined Sugar Unit Deoband as Head of Production Department in 1999 and was elevated as Unit Head of Sugar Unit Chandanpur in 2006. Prior to joining Triveni he has worked for 15 years with Mansurpur, Kashipur, Pilibhit & Shamli sugar factories.

  • Mr. V. Venkatarathnam, Chief General Manager, Sugar Unit, Raninangal

    • Mr. V. Venkatarathnam, Chief General Manager, Sugar Unit, Raninangal is B.E. (Mech.), ANSI (Sugar Engg.) from NSI Kanpur and B.O.E. He joined Triveni in 2007 and prior to that has worked with DSCL Loni, Bajaj Hindusthan, Monnet Sugars and Oswal agro.

  • Mr. Amar Sharma, Chief General Manager

    • Mr. Amar Sharma, Chief General Manager Sugar Unit Milaknarayanpur is B.Sc. – AG. & AH (Hons.) and MBA. He joined Triveni in June 2013 and prior to that he has worked for 26 years with Ruchi Soya Ltd., BCM Ltd., Riga Sugar, Venus Sugar, Khatauli Unit, J.K. Sugar & Piccadily.

  • Mr. Rajendra Kandpal, General Manager (Distillery)

    • Mr. Rajendra Kandpal, General Manager (Distillery) Alco-Chemical Division, Muzaffarnagar is M.Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry and has done P.G.Diploma in Industrial Fermentation & Alcohol Technology from NSI, Kanpur. He joined Triveni in 2006 as Deputy General Manager (Production – Distillery) and elevated as General Manager (Unit Head) in 2012. Prior to joining Triveni he has worked with Central Distillery & Breweries Ltd, Meerut (U.P.) and India Glycols Ltd. Kashipur (Uttaranchal).
