Precision gears had its beginning
over 25 years ago, developing specialty applications for cars and off
road vehicles. By continuously applying the same performance criteria
the use of precision gears are now widely spread in different
industries. They also have a full line of high performance gear set,
bearing kits and locking differentials.
A precision gear, one for the suction and one for the delivery side,
drives two pistons in a drive. At the end of each piston movement a
rotary valve switches from suction to delivery. A precision gear pump
pushes test fluid through a rectangular slit die at controlled flow
rates. They are used to locate weights in the balance system. They
provide low backlash performance. They also provide benefits in terms of
quiet operation. They are also used to cut teeth and broach keyway. They
are used to convert the rotary motion and reduce the speed.
